Details on kids camp .

8:30am - 12 pm Monday -Friday

Ages 6 -14

  From the very beginning your child will learn the importance, love and time that goes into caring for the horses. They will get to see how we feed, clean, brush, bath, and clean the horse’s space. After seeing the overall of care they will learn about the equipment that is used to ride the horse and the different disciplines like jumping, dressage, barrel racing and reining. They will then get to learn about the different parts of the horse and what makes a horse function. Finally, being able to put this all into action and ride the horses. We set up different obstacles for them to maneuver the horses through and build confidence on horseback. We play lots of games and have lots of laughs while learning and expanding your child’s knowledge in the equine world. Our Friday is an all water day , we bath horses and play in water. We have a variety of animals to learn about like potbelly pigs, goats, rabbits and chickens. We look forward to this years 2023 camps!

Overall the kids will learn how to care for their own horse throughout the week while getting to ride and make new friends.

Kids are required to bring

• Their own lunch( we will provide a snack)

• Towel

• Bathing suit

Close toed shoes (preferably a boot)

 

Please leave which week your child will be attending camp ,and age. Cost of camp is $250 per week if the child rides with Hilltop and is a current student cost of camp is $225 you can pay below using the paypal link we have provided if you have any questions please call .  More forms will follow at time of drop off.
